Diorama ; Red Tide , Part 1

As follows an extensive dio in which I've been working on for a somewhat extended period of time. Late war period where as the last German units on the eastern front collapse with the surge in the " Red Tide". This is part 1 of 2, where as it shows the scratch build Gasthaus , base and groundwork, and placement of the  AFV.

 

Scratch built sidewalks and cobblestones from resin cast { master in house }Scratch build walls with

photoetch fence  .

 

Natural cover from Henki and paper plants from Wako.

Foam core walls surrounded with styrene and resin cast walls { master created in house}. Bamboo , balsa , and basswood used for all floors, joists, frames moldings. Roof shingles from resin cast { Master created in house } . Furniture from Miniart, Verlinden , Plus models , and Custom Dioramics. Windows from Miniart , glass from animation acetate. Styrene curtain rods with craft paper drapes.

Flakpanzer IV Möbelwagen Sd.Kfz. 161/3

As follows a Late Flakpanzer  IV Mobelwagen . Dragon / Tamiya hybrid with voyager photo etch set.
Paint done with Mig late German camouflages set, weathered with filters , oils  and Mig pastels.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This AFV will be incorporated into a large dio, presently working on and in the final stages.

Sd Kfz 164 Nashorn Hybrid kit

Sd Kfz 164 Nashorn : Hybrid kit .  

Majority of kit is AFV Club AF35164  , which in it self is a great kit of this long distance tank killer. Refinement was the added utilizing the Model Kasten sprockets and tracks , and 2 Voyager add- on kits . Dragon parts were cannibalized from their kit 6314 such as the periscope assembly , radios , and other small parts that had more detail.

M26 Pershing Vignette

Another shelf queen finished:

 a Tamiya M26 Pershing with Dragon tracks Verlinden gear , Royal Model and Dragon figs . Set on a cigar box base with a converted Warriors Normandy Building.
