Quite Advance , Circa 1999 , so old I forgot the year so I'm guessing.

 

Custom Base with experimentation in ground work. Dragon IS2 old kit with some photoetch and Warrior figures.

Grave Scenario

Old Dio , combining Dragon 250/3, Dragon 250 engine set,Aber photo etch and Warrior figures.Experimentation in ground work and atmosphere.

Cat's Last Meal

This dio depicts a King tiger getting it's last fill of ammo before proceeding to the front.Completed in 2003/04.

Tamiya kit extensively converted to a late model. Aber and Lion Roar photo etch sets used. Warrior and Evolution figures used. Italeri RSO/3 late used and scratch built cab interior, box and tarp. WW2 production tracks, Verlinden and AFV 88 mm ammo boxes. Scratch built trees using wire armatures,scratch fence and groundwork. Piece was entered in on line competition but site folded shortly after contest was posted.

Roadside Assistance

This is an older piece finished in 2001. Tamiya Famo , Tamiya older 251 { circa 1970's) Aber Photo etch set , Edward Photo etch set . Extensive rework on 251 , WW2 production tracks , rework rocket racks and articulated suspension. Verlinden figures and extras, Warrior figures. Scratch build groundwork , bridge and water. This was a big piece to present and store therefor no longer in collection.

 

 

The Tamiya Famo was a joy to work on and I added the aber set. Paint job a little harsh due to chalky pigments, was trying for a very dusty look.

Bego Kubelwagen was used, added a scratch built tilt made of duro.

Bridge section was all scratch built using a wood form ,Styrofoam,balsa, and styrene brick sheets.

The water elements took about 20 coats of scenic water elements to achieve the desired look.

Dragon 251 with extensive alteration , Verlinden , Lion Roar photo etch set , Afv bridges, custom Dioramics building converted, scratch built fence and ground work and interior elements, PlusModel kitchen goodies and rats.

 

 

 

Dragon 251 with Lion Roar photo etch set and Verlinden engine reconverted to fit with a multitude of extra work. Original paint work was drab and flat with no definition so a white wash was introduced with acyclic white washed { Chromacolour} . This was weathered with Windex to create a used and worn look.
